How do I check if a US fund still matches its prospectus?

AP Digital extracts the stated mandate from the latest summary prospectus (Form 497K or 485) and compares it with public N-PORT holdings. You get a documented pass / flag / fail scorecard on 80% policy, geography, style, and concentration.

What is the 80% Names Rule review?

If a US fund’s name suggests a type of investment, SEC Names Rule (Rule 35d-1) generally requires at least 80% of assets to follow that policy. We detect 80% language in the prospectus and compare it with the latest public holdings. That is a review aid, not a legal determination.

What is Form N-PORT?

N-PORT is the SEC portfolio report US funds file. Month-end detail is public with a lag, typically at quarter-end. The as-of date on a scorecard is that public filing, not today.

Can I run the scorecard from Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok?
